ORONO – The annual Friends of Maine Softball Garden Tour takes place June 26 and will offer a glimpse of the University of Maine gardens. The morning session, hosted by Manager of Horticulture Facilities Bradly Libby, features the Lyle Littlefield Ornamental Gardens and the Roger Clapp Greenhouse.

The afternoon presentation begins with a tour of the Page Farm Garden and Museum. Patricia A. Henner, Director/Curator of Page Farm and Home Museum, will host this portion of the tour. A walk through the Tom Gasaway Rose Garden will conclude the day.

Tickets for the tour are $20 and may be purchased at the Black Bear Inn in Orono, Bell’s IGA in the University Mall, My Maine Bag in the Bangor Mall, and both Patrick’s Hallmark shops. Participants are asked to meet at 8:30 a.m. in the Maine Center for the Arts parking lot. All proceeds benefit the Maine softball program. Call Bonnie Puls at 942-1321 with any questions.
