UNITY – Freedom’s Randy Turner outran Jeff Burgess to pick up his first Pro Stock win of the season at Unity Raceway Saturday night. Kris Huff of Orrington was third, Freedom’s Tim Turner finished fourth and fifth was Larry Gelinas of Scarborough.

UNITY – Freedom’s Randy Turner outran Jeff Burgess to pick up his first Pro Stock win of the season at Unity Raceway Saturday night.

Beech Ridge Motor Speedway

At Scarborough, Bub Bilodeau of Standish took the lead with seven laps to go to win the NASCAR Pro Series 100 lap race on Saturday. Lyman’s Alan Tardiff finished second, Bill Rodgers of Old Orchard Beach was third, Haverhill, Mass. native Phil Baril, Jr. finished fourth and Scarborough’s Dave Oliver rounded out the top five.

Scott Robbins of Dixfield outlasted Scott King of Livermore and Hebron’s Alan Wilson to win the Oxford Networks Pro Stocks race on Sunday. Scott Moore of Anson and Jeff White of Winthrop finished fourth and fifth respectively.

Newcastle’s Charlie Colby took the win in the Pro Stock feature on Saturday night. Strong’s Shane Lane was second, Dave St. Clair of Liberty finished third, Gene Green of Manchester was fourth and fifth was Bath’s Mark Green.

At Hermon, Ellsworth’s Andy Saunders continued his outstanding season by holding off Surry’s Dwayne Overlock and Stockton Springs’ Duane Seekins in the pro stock feature at Speedway 95 Sunday.

Town Hill’s John Phippen and Corinth’s Lloyd Nickerson rounded out the top five.
