QUEBEC CITY – Donnie Ross hit a solo home run in the second inning and a three-run shot in the seventh to power the Bangor Lumberjacks to a 13-8 Northeast League victory over the Quebec Capitales Monday night.

Ross finished with a 4-for-4 effort with four RBIs and three runs.

Paul Powell and Shin Uchino each chipped in with a home run and each finished with three hits apiece to fuel the Lumberjacks attack.

Matt Shueing (4-0) picked up the win for the Lumberjacks as the team improved its record to 9-9.

Shane Booker led the Caps (11-6) with five RBIs with a home run and triple.

Bangor plays Quebec again tonight and on Wednesday and Thursday before returning to the Winkin Complex in Bangor for two three-game series against New Haven and the Aces.
