QUEBEC CITY – The Quebec Capitales pounded out 15 hits and routed the Bangor Lumberjacks 12-3 in Northeast League baseball action Thursday night.

Sam Bozanich paced the Capitales with a double, two singles and three RBIs while Buck McNabb chipped in with a home run, single and three RBIs.

John Ballon and Lee Delfino each chipped in with two singles and a double for Quebec City. Olivier Lepine added a double, single and two RBIs.

Donnie Ross continued his hot hitting for the Lumberjacks with two solo home runs and a single. Derry Hammond chipped in with two singles.

The Lumberjacks used six different pitchers, including starter Adam Thomas, who was roughed up for eight hits and six runs in 3 2/3 innings.

Bangor returns home for two three-game series, starting tonight at 6:30 against the New Haven Cutters.
