PORTLAND – Matt McDonnell of Oxford Hills of South Paris laced an RBI triple to lead the East to a 5-4 win in the Underclassmen All-Star baseball game sponsored by Frozen Ropes at Hadlock Field Thursday.

Anthony Jones of Waterville and Stefan Black of Gardiner each had an RBI double and Bangor’s Brian Hackett hit a double for the East.

Mark Schmidt of Gorham had a two-run double for the West.
