LOS ANGELES – Speedo announced endorsement deals with world recordholder Ian Crocker and seven-time NCAA champion Tara Kirk, both 2004 NCAA Swimmers of the Year. Both Olympic medal hopefuls will compete in Speedo Fastskin FSII.

Crocker, a graduate of Cheberus High School in Portland and the University of Texas, is expected to meet fellow Team Speedo swimmer Michael Phelps in one of the most anticipated events of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. Crocker handed Phelps his only loss, in the 100-meter butterfly, at the 2003 World Championships, setting the world record in the process. The possible rematch is scheduled for Aug. 20. Crocker also holds the world record in the 50-meter butterfly.
