PORTLAND – Three people were named to the board of directors of Maine Employers’ Mutual Insurance Co. at the annual meeting of policyholders last week.

Jolan Ippolito of Rumford, S. Catherine Longley of Brunswick and P.D. Merrill of Yarmouth were all elected to three-year terms as policyholder members.

MEMIC also elected Ward I. Graffam of Portland, a 30-year insurance industry veteran, as chairman.

Ippolito is vice president for risk management for American Skiing Co.

Longley is senior vice president for finance at Bowdoin College.

Merrill is president of Merrill Transport Co. and Merrill Industries Inc.
