HAMPDEN – The first meeting of the newly formed Hampden American Legion Post 213 was held June 15 at the Hampden VFW post. Stephen Good was elected post commander. Barbara Hammett was elected adjutant.

Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month at the Hampden Kiwanis Club.

The next meeting will be held July 20.
