ORNEVILLE TOWNSHIP – Authorities are investigating a break-in at a camp on Big Boyd Lake that occurred sometime after Memorial Day.
Thieves took a string trimmer, a push lawn mower, a chain saw, a boat battery and a battery charger from an outbuilding, according to Jamie Kane, Piscataquis County sheriff’s investigator. They also took a barbecue grill and a smoker from the camp porch.
Kane said that the outbuilding had not been locked and tire tracks were left behind, and that there are some suspects.
