BANGOR – A Franklin carpenter reported that tools worth about $1,500 were stolen this week from a house on Kenduskeag Avenue, where he was working.

William Green, 55, reported to Bangor police that his tools, which included drills and a circular saw, were stolen from the residence sometime after 4 p.m. Thursday. Green said he had left the door unlocked when he left. The next morning, he said he returned to find his tools gone.

The case is still under investigation by the Bangor Police Department.
