Air Force Airman Joshua J. Vance has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base.

Vance is the son of Bonnita and Wayne Vance of Lincoln.

Keith W. Jimmo has been selected for promotion to the rank of senior master sergeant in the U.S. Air Force.

Jimmo is a deputy fire chief assigned to the 612th Air Base Squadron, Soto Cano Air Base, Comayagua, Honduras.

He is the son of Lynn and Phillip Merletti of Lee.
