BANGOR – A mother of 7-year-old twins died early Saturday morning after her pickup truck went into a ditch and rolled over on West Street in Princeton.

Heather Storey, 26, was heading home from a friend’s house at 12:42 a.m., traveling west, when her drove her GMC truck around a sharp corner and onto the shoulder of the road, according to state Trooper Chris Hashey.

Storey, of Plantation 21, just outside of Princeton, overcorrected onto the roadway, then overcorrected again before heading into the ditch.

Storey was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Hashey said she was not wearing a seat belt. Storey was the mother of a boy and a girl.
