COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Danny Campbell of Caribou earned All-America honors and a berth on the U.S. Junior Racewalk team with his performance at last weekend’s Junior National Track and Field Championships at Texas A&M University.

Campbell finished fifth in his division in the 10-kilometer race walk, one of three Mainers to earn a spot on the U.S. Junior team. Troy Clark of Lisbon placed second in his 10K race, while Carly Lochala of New Sharon won her bid with an eighth-place finish.

Campbell and Clark will travel as members of the U.S. Junior team to compete against the Canadian Junior team in Edmonton, Alberta, in August.
