CALAIS – Scott McDonald homered, doubled twice and drove in four runs to carry the Calais Suns to a 13-7 American Legion baseball victory over the Trenton Acadians Tuesday.

James Ramsdell had two doubles and two singles with five RBIs for Calais and Ben Maloney doubled twice.

Mark Clapp had two singles and a double with four RBIs for Trenton.

Orono 9, Waldo 8

At Old Town, Ryan Thibodeau hit a game-winning two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead Orono.

Ryan Levesque hit two solo home runs and also singled for Orono. Brad Goody, Dusty Thomas, and Mike Tardiff each hit solo home runs.

Kenton Spaulding and Brenton Gardner both doubled and singled for Waldo and Nick Arthers hit two singles.

At Foxcroft Academy, Mark Pullen hit a RBI single with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Penquis the win.

Jason Weymouth singled and scored the winning run for Penquis. Joey Kane and James Gray each singled.

Tim Lyford had a RBI single to tie the game for Presque Isle. Todd Scull and Aaron Baker both had RBI singles.

Hampden 3, Lincoln 2

At Millinocket, pinch-hitter Jason Huntley’s RBI single tied it and Eric Libby drew a bases-loaded walk as Hampden rallied for two runs in the sixth to upend Lincoln.

Singles by Billy Bart and Chris Morris and a walk set the stage for Huntley’s single and the bases-loaded walk.

Hampden’s Chris Pease pitched a six-hitter, striking out eight and walking two.

Jeremy Ham doubled and singled and Matt Wark singled twice for Lincoln. Wark had an RBI. Nate Cousineau doubled.
