SUNRIVER, Ore. – Jesse Speirs of Bangor shot a 4-over-par 76 Wednesday during the second round of the American Junior Golf Association’s Rolex Tournament of Champions.

Speirs, who fired an opening-round 69, has a two-day total of 145 on the Crosswater Course at Sunriver Resort. He slipped into a nine-way tie for 18th place, five strokes behind co-leaders Jamie Lovemark and Dan Saltz, but made the cut for today’s third round.

The Rolex event brings together more than 100 of the best junior golfers in the world.
