BANGOR – Beacon of Hope Church of God, 1612 Ohio St., is celebrating the 14th anniversary of the arrival of the Rev. David Bean and his wife, Phyllis, at the church with a special service at 10 a.m. Sunday, July 11.

The Rev. Billy Washington will be guest speaker.

Pastor Bean’s focus is on salvation and discipleship, and Phyllis Bean serves as the church secretary. Their two daughters and members of their family serve the church in the music and children’s ministries.
