Police look for vandals

HOULTON – Police are looking to the public for information about a weekend vandalism spree in which several vehicles were damaged.

Police Chief Daniel Soucy said tires were punctured on several vehicles, two cars were scratched, and a vehicle was set on fire. These incidents happened on Kendall, Main, Military and Mechanic streets as well as Broadway.

The State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the vehicle fire.

In another instance, a U.S. flag on a home was burned overnight. The owner discovered the vandalism Monday morning.

Officers Mark Ganzel, Troy Fitzpatrick, Eric Crouse and Ezekiel Collins are investigating the complaints.
