BANGOR – Nate Lewis doubled, singled twice and drove in a run to lead Bangor East by Bangor West 8-7 in District 3 all-star baseball action for ages 11-12 Tuesday at the 13th Street Field.

Josh Turcotte added a double for Bangor East and Bud Angst singled twice with a RBI.

Phil Frost had a double and a single with two RBIs for Bangor West and Kyle Savage singled with a RBI.

At Bucksport, Chris Maguire allowed eight hits and no walks while striking out seven to earn an 11-0 shutout and give Bucksport the District 1 Senior League (ages 15-16) title.

Maguire also hit a solo home run in the fourth and a single for Bucksport and Louden Jellison had a triple and two singles with three RBIs. Forrest Wardwell tripled and doubled to knock in five runs and Nick Hubbard hit a double.

Rick Trombley had three singles for Ellsworth and Owen Harding singled twice.

At Bar Harbor, Dylan Pessatore allowed just two runs on four hits and three walks while striking out eight to help lead the Acadians past Machias.

Will Clark hit a solo home run in the fourth inning for the Acadians and Taylor Stewart had two singles with two RBIs. Devin Young doubled and Chase Bickford hit a RBI single.

Mike Lenfestey, Noah Von Rotz, Matt Little, and Justin Weaver each singled for Machias.
