Rabideau, Pelletier lead Penquis past PI

PRESQUE ISLE – Chris Rabideau singled twice and drove in a run and Josh Pelletier had a run-scoring double to help guide Penquis past Presque Isle 7-2 in a Zone 1 American Legion game Tuesday night.

Eric Day also doubled for the winners.

Tim Lyford doubled and singled for Presque Isle. Chris Parsons had two singles and Kyle Larrabbee had an RBI single.

Calais 14, Waldo 7

At Calais, Russ McLean hit a solo home run in the third inning and had two singles to power Calais past Waldo.

Josh Francis doubled twice for Calais and Derek Maloney had a double and a single. Corey Colbeth and Ryan McLey each had two singles.

Josh Gallant had three singles for Waldo and Paul Herman hit a solo home run in the second inning. Nick Arthers and Kendon Spaulding both singled and doubled and Mike Cummings singled twice.

Trenton 12, Orono 5

At Ellsworth, Nick Ciomei slammed a two-run homer to lead the Acadians to the win.

Mark Clapp had two singles and a double for Trenton and Arshwin Asjes added a single and a double.

Mike Tardiff doubled twice and singled for the Twins and Ryan Levesque had a double and a single.

Lincoln 18, Hampden 3

At Hampden, Nate Cousineau hit a double and a single and scored three runs to pace Lincoln to the win.

Brody Artes hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning for Lincoln and Jason Murchison hit three singles.

Chris Pease hit a two-run single in the first inning for Hampden.
