Massage therapist Kate Anagnostis of Bath has been selected as one of 100 international sports massage therapists who will attend to the athletes at the 2004 Olympics in Athens.
Anagnostis, who is on the faculty of the Downeast School of Massage in Waldoboro and serves as athletic trainer at Mount Ararat High in Topsham, was one of 500 applicants from 12 countries. She will work with the Medical and Health Services team in administering to athletes. There will be a raffle July 25 to cover part of her travel expenses.
