STATE COLLEGE, Pa. – The Maine Northstars girls basketball team completed competition at the Blue Chip Invitational with a 6-0 record, including two wins Friday.

The Northstars, which features some of Maine’s top high school players, defeated Pennsylvania Firepower 72-33 paced by 22 points from Cony of Augusta’s Katie Rollins. She scored 20 points as the Northstars later beat Southern Pennsylvania AAU 42-35.

More than 200 teams from the Northeast and as far away as the Carolinas and Minnesota participated in the tournament.
