Bangor Lumberjacks slugger Derry Hammond was named the Northeast League’s Batter of the Week, the second time in four weeks Hammond has earned the honor.
Hammond had 11 hits in 25 at-bats for a .440 average. He also had one double and three home runs for an .840 slugging percentage, drove in 10 runs, and scored six times.
