CALAIS – Scott Macdonald came on the mound with the bases loaded in the sixth inning and pitched two perfect innings of relief as the Calais Suns held off the Lincoln Lumber 6-4 in an American Legion Zone 1 baseball game on Wednesday night.

James Ramsdell and Cory Colbeth each had two singles and an RBI for Calais.

Matt Leino singled twice for Lincoln.

Bangor 14, Presque Isle 1

At Presque Isle, Alex Means hit a three-run home run in the fourth inning and a single to drive in four runs and help lead Bangor past Presque Isle.

Anthony DeRosa had a two-run homer in the sixth for Bangor as Nick Larochelle and Jason Eremita each had two singles.

Tim Lyford singled twice for Presque Isle. Andrew York had a RBI single and Kevin Baker doubled.

At Belfast, Ben Relyea hit a three-run home run and a two-run home run and a single to help lead Montville to the win.

George Tripp had a double and two singles with a RBI for Montville as Josh Tripp and Ryan Harnden both singled twice.

Aaron Largay doubled and singled for Quirk Auto and Bill Kane had a double with a RBI.
