BREWER – Joe Robicheau stroked two doubles and a single with four RBIs in the first game to spark Brewer to a 9-6, 12-6 twinbill sweep of Lincoln in American Legion baseball action at Heddericg Field.

In the opener, Pat Moran (RBI) and winner Andrew Patterson each singled twice. Tyler Thompson singled three times (RBI), Steve Whitney singled twice and Tom Lasko hit a two-run homer for the Lumber.

In the nightcap, Patterson stroked three singles (RBI), Zach Bouzan-Kaloustian singled twice with two RBIs and Robicheau doubled with two RBIs for Brewer.

Whitney collected three singles for Lincoln, while Matt Leino singled two and Nate Cousineau posted a double with two RBIs.

At Calais, Steve Colbeth belted a grand slam in the sixth inning to give Calais the win.

Scott Macdonald hit a solo home run and two singles for Calais and Aaron Sullivan had two singles. Russell McLean gave up three hits and one run in five innings of relief.

Nate Hall tripled and singled (RBI) for Bangor. Josh Heath had two singles (RBI) and Nick Larochelle singled twice.
