BANGOR – Tommy Hart and John Alexander each singled home a run in the fourth inning at Mansfield Stadium on Tuesday to give Auburn Suburban the lead for good as the District 5 champion defeated Bucksport 7-3 to win the Senior Little League baseball state title.

Kyle Giguere doubled and Brady Blackman hit an RBI double for the winners. Blackman also earned the pitching win, allowing five hits, three walks and striking out nine.

Louden Jellison hit a three-run triple in the third inning to give Bucksport a 3-2 lead. Ted Cooke and Pat Dedmon singled twice each for Bucksport.
