BANGOR – July 20 marked a milestone in progress toward the construction of Belvedere on the RiverPark, Bangor’s exclusive condominium residences overlooking the Penobscot River.

Bangor Mayor Daniel Tremble and Rod McKay, director of Community and Economic Development, attended the signing of the developer’s agreement along with Brian Ames and Mo Fer representing the developers, Belvedere Associates LLC.

Later in the day, the planning board gave official approval to Belvedere.

In response to demand from future residents, Belvedere Associates LLC has added a few additional floor plans to the selection available thus far. The floor plans, like all others, feature unobstructed river views and may be previewed upon request. At present, more than two-thirds of the residences have been reserved.

The complex will include a swimming pool, fitness center, heated indoor parking, security systems, plentiful storage and access to walking trails through the planned 13-acre riverfront park.

The Belvedere will be situated within walking distance of downtown restaurants, cultural attractions and the shopping district, and will be adjacent to the Bangor Waterfront Park, 1 mile of river frontage, a marina and the proposed outdoor amphitheater.

For further information, contact Mo Fer at 947-3363.
