BANGOR – East Biddeford and Augusta West both won on Thursday and will play each other for the Little League baseball state championship for 11- and 12-year-olds today.

In the first game, Alec Luro gave up four runs on nine hits while striking out six to help lead East Biddeford to a 7-4 win over Cape Elizabeth.

Luro also hit a home run and two singles to drive in three runs. Joey White singled and homered to knock in three runs, and Thomas Mourmouras had two singles.

Conor Moloney hit two singles to drive in two runs for Cape Elizabeth. Matt Weiss and Will Pierce each doubled.

In the second game, Shaun Laney singled twice and had two RBIs to pace Augusta West past Lincoln 6-4.

Chris Robinson added two singles with an RBI for Augusta West. Jacob Lachance and Garrett Lucas each singled twice.

Trevor Tash hit two singles for Lincoln, and Lance Bernier singled and drove in a run.
