BLUE HILL – John Lewandowski hit two doubles to drive in a run and scored twice to help lead Blue Hill to a 6-4 victory Sunday in the first game and an eventual sweep of its Bay League doubleheader against Quirk Auto Park.

Blue Hill won the second game 8-0.

In the first game, Seth Cole doubled and singled for Blue Hill.

Dan Ham singled with an RBI for Quirk Auto and Andy Ham singled.

In the second game, Cole hit two triples to drive in two runs for Blue Hill. Mike Clough pitched the shutout allowing just seven hits and three walks while striking out three.

Peter Collier and Joel Wessel each had two singles.

James Strout singled twice for Quirk Auto.

Electrolux 11-3, Bear Brew 6-2

At Old Town High School Sunday, Mark Farnham’s run-scoring single capped a three-run rally in the seventh inning that enabled Electrolux of Bangor to sweep the Bear Brew Pub of Orono.

Bear Brew Pub righty Ryan Brown took a no-hitter and a 2-0 lead into the seventh but Electrolux reached him for four singles including a base hit by Andy Treadwell which was misplayed, allowing two runs to score. Farnham followed with his base hit.

Zac Reed pitched a seven-hitter, striking out 12 and walking one. Brown finished with a four-hitter, striking out nine and walking two.

Ryan Logan homered and had two singles for the Bear Brew Pub and Pete Saunders singled and scored a run.

In the opener, Randy Renaud’s three-run homer in the sixth tied it and Electrolux broke the tie with five runs in the seventh behind RBI singles from Dan Gage, Reed and Renaud.
