ALGONQUIN, N.B. – Thomaston’s Ricky Jones shot a 62 in the second round to set a new course record to help him win the Barrett East Coast Amateur at Algonquin Golf Club on Monday. Jones finished with a 65-62-71-198, 15 under par.

Shawn Warren of Windham also shot a 62 in the second round and finished second by shooting 14 under par. Greg Koster of Courtenay, BC and Bangor’s Jesse Speirs tied for third with eight under par.
