PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Swimmer Lindsey Snyder of Bangor placed in six individual events and three relays at the New England Open Championships at Brown University’s Smith Swim Center last weekend.

Snyder, who competes for Seacoast Swimming Association of New Hampshire, was fourth in the 200-meter backstroke (2:42.01) and sixth in the 100 back (1:08.03) which were her highest finishes. She also placed 15th in the 200 freestyle, 18th in the 400 free and the 400 individual medley, and 21st in the 200 IM.

The Bangor High graduate helped SSA to a second-place finish in the 400 free relay, a third in the 400 medley relay, and a fourth in the 800 free relay. Snyder racked up 83 points to finish 20th in the individual scoring and SSA was fourth overall.
