Six Maine racewalkers won medals in the National Junior Olympic Track and Field meet in Eugene, Oregon over the weekend.

Matt Forgues of Boothbay was second in the Midget Boys 1500 racewalk (8 minutes, 3.72 seconds) and Padric Gleason of Dresden was second in the intermediate boys 5,000 racewalk (27:26.93).

Finishing sixth was Greg Pola (young men’s 5,000, 34:45.25). Boothbay’s Lauren Forgues and Eastport’s Helen Pottle went 4-5 in the intermediate girls 5K race with times of 27:45 and 28:40. South Berwick’s Kate Dickinson (30:48) was fourth in the young women’s 5K.
