HERMON – Richard Burrill of Sullivan was declared the winner of Speedway 95’s Little Enduro race Wednesday night after it was suspended on lap 15 due to the lateness of the program.
Another factor was the expected time it would take to extricate a driver who was apparently uninjured, but trapped in his car after a collision on the front stretch. Hydraulic claws (jaws of life) were needed to get A.J. Cookson Jr. of Old Town out of the wreck.
Greg Small of Ellsworth was second, followed by John Luce of Carmel, Holden’s Shane Geiser, and Whitney Bryant of Hermon in the little enduro.
