BANGOR – East Biddeford scored seven runs on three hits aided by three walks in the first inning en route to a 12-6 victory over Ellsworth in state Little League baseball tourney action for ages 9-10 Thursday at the 13th Street Complex.

Mike Vadnais had an RBI double and Patrick Wilson a two-run single for the winners. Brady Fleunent added two singles an an RBI.

Cote Card tripled, singled and plated a run for Ellsworth while Kyle Haslen slammed two doubles, a single and drove in a run.
