WABI-TV (Ch. 5) in Bangor and the University of Maine on Friday released the 2004-05 broadcast schedule for Black Bear football and men’s hockey. WABI will air five UMaine football games and as many as eight hockey contests.

The station will have UMaine football games Sept. 4 at Montana, Oct. 16 vs. James Madison, Oct. 23 vs. Northeastern, Nov. 6 vs. Hofstra and Nov. 20 vs. New Hampshire.

WABI will air men’s hockey games as follows: Oct. 9, North Dakota; Oct. 22, St. Lawrence; Nov. 5, Boston College; Nov. 19, Massachusetts; Dec. 4, Merrimack (tentative); Jan. 22, Boston University; Jan. 29, Northeastern and Feb. 26, UMass-Lowell.
