The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of family and friends of problem drinkers who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. Al-Anon is a nonprofit organization, and there are no dues for membership.

Al-Anon holds meetings in the Greater Bangor area at:

. Bangor, noon Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, side door, 234 French St.

. Bangor, 7 p.m. Monday, Acadia Hospital, Mallard Room 268 Stillwater Ave.

. Bangor, 10 a.m. Wednesday, basement, St. John’s Catholic Church, 207 York St.

. Bangor, 8 p.m. Thursday, rear entrance, Hammond Street Congregational Church, High and Hammond streets.

. Bangor, 1 p.m. Saturday, 327 Peabody Hall, Husson College, Husson Avenue.

. Brewer, 6 p.m. Tuesday, First United Methodist Church, 40 South Main St.

. Orrington, 6 p.m. Friday, East Orrington Congregational Church, Fowler Road.
