CAMDEN – Jane’s Trust has awarded the Community School a $75,000 grant, which will be disbursed in December. The grant will help bolster organizational sustainability by building development capacity and addressing rising operating expenses.

Jane’s Trust supports projects in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts and Florida in the areas of education, arts and culture, environment, and health and welfare.

It gives preference to organizations and projects that serve disadvantaged and underserved populations and communities.

Anticipated projects that the grant will help fund include updating the school’s database, obtaining specialized fund-raising software, and contracting with a grant writer.
