Cyr, Pinette, Morneault power Warriors

CARIBOU – Lindsay Cyr and Sarah Pinette each scored a goal in the first half as the Fort Kent girls soccer team held off Caribou Monday in high school action.

Cyr assisted on Pinette’s goal and Mindy Morneault stopped nine of 19 shots for the 2-0 Warriors.

Shelby Cousins scored off an assist from Christy Zbylut as the 1-1 Vikings in the second half. Billie Martin made seven saves on 11 shots.

Hodgdon 4, Cent. Aroostook 0

At Hodgdon, Andrea Blanchette netted a goal and had an assist as the Hawks earned the win.

Melanie Sloat, Shannon Martin and Kayla Fleming all scored a goal and Collette Sloat helped with an assist. Casey Nightingale made 13 saves on 18 assists for 2-1 Hodgdon.

Rachel Grover saved 23 of 32 shots for the 1-1 Panthers of Mars Hill.

Limestone-MSSM 3, Washburn 0

At Limestone, Ellie Dunn knocked in three goals to power the Esgles to a victory.

Crystal Silva assisted on one of Dunn’s goals and Melanie Allen saved six of nine shots for 1-1 Limestone.

Amber Palmer faced nine shots and saved four for the 3-1 Beavers.

Van Buren 3, Fort Fairfield 2

At Van Buren, Megan Lajoie scored twice and the Crusaders held off the Tigers.

Karie Ouellette scored the other goal, and Lisa Levasseur made seven saves on 12 shots for 1-2 Van Buren.

Kerri Cunningham and Kaylee Searles both had unassisted goals for 1-1 Fort Fairfield. Keegan O’Neal deflected seven of 17 shots.

Boys soccer

Cent. Aroostook 11, Hodgdon 1

At Hodgdon, Jason Woodworth led the Panthers of Mars Hill with three goals and three assists.

Eric Smith, Jake Delano and Shaun Walling each added two goals apiece for 2-1 Central Aroostook. Brock Burtt and Ryan Kilcollins had one goal each, while Jon Boyd made nine saves on 16 shots.

Justin Clayton scored for the 0-3 Hawk and Jordan Quint stopped 30 of 52 shots.

Washburn 6, Limestone-MSSM 0

At Limestone, Isaac Carney scored three goals to lead the Beavers past the Eagles.

Zach Bird had a goal and an assist, Sam Harris scored a goal, and Wade Snyder scored one goal for 2-0 Washburn. Jason Thompson saved both shots he faced.

A.J. Rossignol made 16 saves on 32 shots for the 0-2 Eagles.

Van Buren 5, Fort Fairfield 0

At Van Buren, Tyler Lapierre tallied a goal and an assist as the Crusaders rolled.

Matt Parent, Ben Doucette Jacob Doucette and Andy Martin added a goal each while Corey Vick and Logan Ouellette helped with an assist apiece. Dustin Cyr stopped two of six shots for 3-0 Van Buren.

Billy Scull made 13 saves on 18 shots for 1-3 Fort Fairfield.
