Ryan D. Pelletier, town manager of St. Agatha, has won the race for the vice presidency of the Maine Municipal Association. He will replace Dana Lee, town manager of Mechanic Falls, in January.

Pelletier becomes the first sitting Aroostook County municipal official in nearly 16 years to hold a MMA officer position. Pelletier is serving the last year of a three-year term on the executive committee of the association.

In his new role as MMA vice president, Pelletier will serve as chairperson of the 70-member MMA legislative policy committee.
