DOVER-FOXCROFT – A veterans service officer from the Department of Defense, Veterans and Emergency Management will assist veterans, widows and dependent children in filing for state and federal benefits from 9 a.m. to noon at the following locations:

. Wednesday, Sept. 1, and Wednesday, Sept. 15, at Penquis CAP building, Dover-Foxcroft.

. Wednesday, Sept. 8, at the Milo town office.

. Thursday, Sept. 2, at the Millinocket town office.

. Thursday, Sept. 9, and Thursday, Sept. 23, at the Lincoln District Court office. The officer will also be available at the Corinth municipal building by appointment only.
