ST. AGATHA – Kerri Cunningham assisted on the game-tying goal with nine minutes left and scored the game winner five minutes later to lead Fort Fairfield to a 2-1 schoolgirl soccer victory over Wisdom on Friday.

Brittany McLaughlin scored the first goal for the 3-1-1 Tigers, and Keegan O’Neal saved five of 13 shots.

Nicole St. Pierre scored the lone goal unassisted for the 1-4 Pioneers. Kayla Daigle made 12 saves on 22 shots.

Southern Aroostook 5, Easton 2

At Dyer Brook, Mindy Watson scored three goals to lead the Southern Aroostook Warriors to the win.

Chelsea Collier scored twice and Audrey Charette assisted on two goals for the 2-1 Warriors. Kaylea Collier had one assist and Erin Caswell saved 15 of 18 shots.

Nina Alexander scored both goal unassisted for the 0-4 Bears. Briana White saved 17 of 30 shots.

Houlton 0, Madawaska 0 (2OT)

At Houlton, the Shires and Owls played to a double-overtime stalemate.

Nicole Manton stopped all seven shots she faced for 1-2-1 Houlton while Elizabeth Laplante saw seven shots and blocked all of them for 0-3-1 Madwaska.

Washburn 2, CAHS 0

At Mars Hill, Kristen Goupille scored unassisted 12 minutes into the second half to give the Beavers the win.

Sarah Davis also scored unassisted for 4-1 Washburn. Amber Palmer made nine saves on 10 shots.

Rachel Graves stopped 10 out of 12 shots for the 1-4-1 Panthers.

Lee 12, So. Aroostook 0

At Lee, Shelby Pickering, Jodi Worcester, and Karen Hird knocked in two goals apiece as the Pandas came away with the win Wednesday.

Pickering also contributed four assists. Kimmy Thurlow, Aarika Ritchie, Amanda Gifford, Marci Moors, Michaela Ham and Kerri Harris each added one goal. Jackie Moors and Pickering combined for six saves on seven shots for 1-0 Lee Academy.

Erin Coswell saw 29 shots and saved 17 for the 1-1 Warriors.

Boys soccer

Caribou 5, Madawaska 1

At Madawaska, Ben Wakana and Eamonn Harrigan each netted two goals as the Vikings rolled over the Owls.

Chase Gagnon chipped in with a goal and Brad Ala stopped eight of nine shots for 2-0 Caribou.

Miles Morneault scored for 1-2-1 Madawaska. Matt Dube made nine saves on 15 shots.

CAHS 1, Washburn 1 (2OT)

At Mars Hill, Isaac Carney’s unassisted goal off a scramble in front of the net scored the game-tying goal for Washburn with 7:53 left in regulation and the teams held each other scoreless the rest of the way.

Jon Boyd made 23 saves on 29 shots for the Panthers of Mars Hill.

Erick Martinez scored unassisted in the second half for the 5-0-1 Beavers. Jason Thompson saved 17 of 25 shots.

So. Aroostook 2, Easton 0

At Dyer Brook, Southern Aroostook’s Jeff Boutilier saved all eight shots he faced for his third shutout of the season.

Travis Brooker and Jeremy Boutilier each scored goals. Zach Austin assisted on Brooker’s for the 3-0 Warriors.

Jeremy Brock saved 16 of 18 shots for the 2-3 Easton Bears.

Van Buren 10, Limestone 0

At Van Buren, Dominic Rossignol scored three goals and Sustin Cyr saved all six shots he faced for a shutout to lead Van Buren to the win.

Tyler Lapierre scored twice and Andy Martin had a goal and three assists for the 4-1 Crusaders. Ben Doucette, Jacob Doucette, Trevor Hews and Brandon Boulware each scored a goal.

Addison Rossignol saved 21 of 32 shots for 0-4 Limestone-Maine School of Science and Mathematics.

Presque Isle 2, Fort Kent 0

At Fort Kent, Sean Daigle and Nate Carter each scored unassisted for the Wildcats in the win.

Bard Bakes had 13 saves on 16 shots for the 2-0 winners.

Derek Plourde stopped 29 out of 31 shots for the 1-1 Warriors.
