Better Breathers’ picnic

BANGOR – St. Joseph Healthcare’s Better Breathers’ Club will hold a picnic from noon to 3 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at Cascade Park. The picnic, sponsored by Apria, will give club members and their families a chance to enjoy food, games and fun.

The Better Breathers’ Club is a support group for people with lung disease and was developed as a way to make the latest health care information available to respiratory patients.

The club meets 1:30-3 p.m. the third Thursday of each month in the Willette Conference Center at St. Joseph Healthcare Park, Building 1, 900 Broadway, unless otherwise noted in the club newsletter.

Members enjoy having guest speakers, games and other activities. Members encourage one another and enjoy outings designed to bring the group together. Those interested in attending a Better Breathers’ Club meeting may contact Voni Burke or Denise Holt at 262-1803 for more information.
