BANGOR – Manna Ministries Inc. has given out more than 140 backpacks filled with school supplies to children throughout central Maine and is looking for more help.

Manna is asking for donations in the form of backpacks, spiral notebooks, colored pencils, calculators, paper, three-ring binders, markers and folders.

Manna is located at 629 Main St. and is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Labor Day weekend.
