PRESQUE ISLE – Emily Robertson and Angela Norsworthy each tallied two goals as the Presque Isle girls soccer team rolled to a 9-0 victory over Caribou on Thursday in high school action.

Norsworthy also added two assists and Robertson had one. Katie Delong, Rachel Blackstone and Sarah Gonsioroski each contributed a goal and an assist. Natasha Deschene and Erica Egeler both scored for 3-0 Presque Isle and Brianna Young saved both Caribou shots.

Billie Martin made 24 saves on 44 shots for the 1-2 Vikings.

Madawaska 5, Hodgdon 0

At Hodgdon, Elizabeth Gerard scored three goals and added an assist as the Owls earned the victory.

Elizabeth LaPlante and Kelly Chasse also scored for 3-1-1 Madawaska, while Ashley Cyr had two assists.

Erin Pelletier earned the shutout in goal with 11 saves on 14 Hodgdon shots. Casey Nightengale and Heather London combined to make 18 saves on 29 Madawaska shots for 3-3 Hodgdon.

Boys soccer

Madawaska 7, Hodgdon 0

At Hodgdon, Myles Morneault knocked in three goals and Miles Arnold chipped in with two more as the Owls rolled to the win.

Justin Lagasse and Kevin Dufour each added a goal for Madawaska. Paul Michaud stopped six of the 13 shots he faced.

Justin Quint saved 20 of 37 shots for the Hawks.
