GUILFORD – Kristi Levesque scored a goal off a Kellie Martel assist to lift the Piscataquis Community Pirates to a 1-0 high school field hockey win over the Orono Red Riots Tuesday.
Levesque scored the goal with 21:16 left in the game.
Amy Knowlton made two saves on five shots for 1-0 Piscataquis.
Ana Blagovic blocked six of 18 shots for 1-1 Orono.

At Thorndike, Jamie Michaud scored with 12:13 left in the second half to provide the margin of victory for 1-1 Maranacook if Readfield.
Kim Anderson scored the first goal with 34 seconds left in the first half for the Black Bears. Haley Schwartz stopped 15 of 16 shots.
Jennifer Masessa scored on a Amy Myles assist with 10:10 left for 1-1 Mount View. Carrie Beverage made eight saves on 10 shots.
Central 0, Nokomis 0 (2OT)
At Corinth, Kara Voisine stopped seven of eight shots to help 0-1-1 Central earn the tie against Nokomis.
Sarah French made four saves on eight shots for 1-0-1 Nokomis of Newport.

At Hampden, Erika Veinote scored a pair of goals and Tini Lumino had a goal and an assist as Hampden improved to 2-0.
Gretchen Lescord and Alisa Hamilton had the other goals with Jenna Veinote and Sarah Hessert picked up assists. Caroline Samp made five saves.
Amanda Littlefield and Mallory Dill scored for Old Town with Jessica Lovering and Rachel Allen chipping in assists. Catherine Campbell made 16 saves.

At East Sullivan, Brandi Winters scored two goals to help lead George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill past Sumner.
Winslow Brokaw scored a goal and had an assist for the 1-0 Eagles. Sadie Beardsworth and Christy Moon each netted a goal while Laura Overton and Katherine Ekberg added assists. Kayla Eaton did not face a shot.
Whitney Page made 16 saves while facing 38 shots for 0-1 Sumner.
Woodland 3, East Grand 1
At Danforth, Tabitha Haganaris, Jillian Noyes and Gina Clark scored to lift the Dragons to victory.
Lassie Gillespie added an assist for 2-1 Woodland behind Cindy Bergin, who made eight saves on 10 shots.
Allie McKay scored off a Ryann Flannery assist for the 0-1 Vikings. Paula Osnoe made 13 saves on 16 shots.
Searsport 4, Penquis 2
At Searsport, junior Nori Francis-Metzger scored three goals and freshman sister Jana Francis-Metzger gave the Vikings an important insurance goal with 8:35 left in a mutual season opener.
Aimee Neilsen had an assist and Kate Bradshaw made 13 saves on 18 shots for the Vikings.
Kate Hamlin and Erin Beasley scored for Penquis of Milo and Michelle Mulherin made 10 saves on 28 shots.
Bucksport 2, MDI 1
At Bucksport, Lindsey Gordon scored a goal on a Cassie Gourley assist with 15:41 remaining as the Golden Bucks edged the Trojans.
Gourley scored an unassisted goal earlier in the half to tie the game for 1-0 Bucksport. Katie Hurd made one save on three shots.
Kaitlyn Vaux scored for 0-2 Mount Desert Island to back Asia Ross, who made four saves on 14 shots.
Hampden 4, Old Town 2
At Old Town, Annaliese Lafayette scored the go-ahead goal with 14:50 left in the second half to give Hampden the win.
Sophie Kelmensen, Jenna Shue and Amy Dumont each netted a goal for 2-0 Hampden. Michelle Wells stopped six of eight shots.
Amy McLaughlin and Katie Bergeron each scored a goal for 0-1 Old Town. Amy McFalls made 13 saves on 17 shots.

At East Millinocket, Randy Rackley scored three goals to lead Penobscot Valley of Howland to the victory.
Ashley Dawson added a goal for the 1-0 Howlers and Jen Plourde stopped three of 10 shots.
Cortney McLaughlin scored a second-half goal for 1-1 Schenck and Tricia Hobbs made six saves on 16 shots.
Greenville 5, Valley 0
At Bingham, Hannah Breton netted three first-half goals to lead Greenville to the win.
Crystal Ferris had a goal and an assist for 2-1 Greenville. Kahla Lander netted a goal and Kristi Richardson had an assist. Beth Bartley stopped all three shots that she faced.
Morgan Staples made 20 saves on 35 shots for 1-1 Valley.
Lee 8, Bangor Christian 0
At Lee, Shelby Pickering scored four goals as Lee Academy improved to 2-0.
Jodi Worcester, Brooke Harris, Amanda Gifford and Nicki Slevinsky had the other goals with Jackie Moors, Chi Nguyen and Aarica Ritchie notching assists.
Pickering, Moors and Harris combined for nine saves on 10 shots.
Johanna Kurtz made 14 stops on 34 shots for 1-1 Bangor Christian.

At Bangor, Serena Dubois had three goals and an assist to help lead Bangor to the win.
Emily Heath scored a goal and assisted four others for the 1-1 Rams and Amy Hackett had a goal and two assists. Erin McDermott and Jessica Tweedie each scored a goal. Elyse Angst blocked the only shot that she saw.
Danielle White made five saves on 12 shots for 0-2 Nokomis of Newport.

At Ellsworth, Demetrios Katsiaficas scored two goals and assisted two others to help lead Ellsworth to the win.
Jensen Rich netted two goals for the 2-0 Eagles. Andy Berry and Taylor Wentworth each had a goal and an assist and Noah Jordan scored a goal. Cory Smith and Greg Berry combined to block one of two shots.
Matt Lint made six saves on 21 shots for 0-2 Orono.

At Bangor, second-half goals by Matt Denbow, Josh Griffin and Willie Hinkley rallied Bangor Christian past Searsport.
Ignacio Bustos and Josh Bach had assists for 1-0-1 Bangor Christian and Aaron Wilson made six saves on 12 shots.
Ethan McHatten scored a first-half goal for 0-1 Searsport and Garrett Greenlaw made 10 saves on 25 shots.

At Newport, Dylan George scored five goals to lead Bangor past Nokomis.

Eric Hatfield and Tim Giberson combined to make 12 saves on 18 shots for 1-1 Valley.
