WASHBURN – Jeremy Boutilier headed in a Zac Austin throw-in with 1:41 left in the second overtime to give Southern Aroostook of Dyer Brook a 3-2 victory over Washburn in a schoolboy soccer game Tuesday.
Tom St. Pierre scored two goals for the 5-1 Warriors, the first off a penalty kick with 4:03 left in the first half and the second off a 20-yard direct kick.
Washburn’s Isaac Carney tied it at 2-2 when he converted a penalty kick with 14:17 left in regulation. Steven Pesut also scored when he nailed a 35-yarder that sailed into the goal’s right corner with 27:17 left in the first half.
Southern Aroostook’s Jeff Boutilier made 20 saves on 28 shots and Jason Thompson made 16 saves on 19 shots for 7-1-1 Washburn.
Fort Kent 1, Madawaska 1 (2OT)
At Fort Kent, Kelly Thibodeau scored the game-tying goal early in the second half for Fort Kent.
Derek Plourde made nine saves on 12 shots for Fort Kent.
Paul Roy scored with 36:02 left in the first half for Madawaska and Paul Michaud finished with 13 saves on 20 shots.

Caribou 1, Houlton 0
At Houlton, Eric Mowatt took a pass from Danny Rush and chipped it over Eben Thompson with 13:11 left to give Caribou its win.
Brad Ala finished with 11 saves for 4-1 Caribou while Thompson stopped 12 shots for 0-3-1 Houlton.
George Stevens 2, MDI 0
At Blue Hill, Tyler Cousins and Colin Tareila scored 3:50 apart early in the second half and Mark Ensworth and Collin Henry combined for 13 saves as the 2-0 Eagles triumphed.
Cousins assisted on Tareila’s goal with Danny Moran and Blake Wessel assisting on Cousin’s game-winner for George Stevens Academy.
Max Blanford made three saves on 10 shots for 1-1 Mount Desert Island.

At Ellsworth, Demetrios Katsiaficas scored two goals and assisted two others to help lead Ellsworth to the win.
Jensen Rich netted two goals for the 2-0 Eagles. Andy Berry and Taylor Wentworth each had a goal and an assist and Noah Jordan scored a goal. Cory Smith and Greg Berry combined to block one of two shots.
Matt Lint made six saves on 21 shots for 0-2 Orono.

At Bangor, second-half goals by Matt Denbow, Josh Griffin and Willie Hinkley rallied Bangor Christian past Searsport.
Ignacio Bustos and Josh Bach had assists for 1-0-1 Bangor Christian and Aaron Wilson made six saves on 12 shots.
Ethan McHatten scored a first-half goal for 0-1 Searsport and Garrett Greenlaw made 10 saves on 25 shots.

At Newport, Dylan George scored five goals to lead Bangor past Nokomis.

Eric Hatfield and Tim Giberson combined to make 12 saves on 18 shots for 1-1 Valley.

At Washburn, Kaylea Collier scored two goals and Audrey Charette added a goal and an assist to power the Warriors of Dyer Brook.
Chelsea Collier chipped in with a goal and an assist for the 4-1 winners and Mindy Watson added a goal. Erin Caswell made nine saves on 16 shots.
Erica McDougall scored off a Kristen Goupille pass for 5-4 Washburn and Amber Palmer made three saves on 16 shots.

At Houlton, Nicole Manton stopped all 11 shots that she faced for 1-2-2 Houlton.
Billie Martin saved all 12 shots for 2-2-1 Caribou.

At St. Agatha, Megan Lajoie scored two second-half goals to help lead Van Buren to the win.
Katie Beckwith netted a goal in the first half for 4-3-1 Van Buren and Lisa Levasseur stopped one of 10 shots.

At Danforth, Tabitha Haganaris, Jillian Noyes and Gina Clark scored to lift the Dragons to victory.
Lassie Gillespie added an assist for 2-1 Woodland behind Cindy Bergin, who made eight saves on 10 shots.
Allie McKay scored off a Ryann Flannery assist for the 0-1 Vikings. Paula Osnoe made 13 saves on 16 shots.

At Searsport, junior Nori Francis-Metzger scored three goals and freshman sister Jana Francis-Metzger gave the Vikings an important insurance goal with 8:35 left in a mutual season opener.
Aimee Neilsen had an assist and Kate Bradshaw made 13 saves on 18 shots for the Vikings.
Kate Hamlin and Erin Beasley scored for Penquis of Milo and Michelle Mulherin made 10 saves on 28 shots.
Bucksport 2, MDI 1
At Bucksport, Lindsey Gordon scored a goal on a Cassie Gourley assist with 15:41 remaining as the Golden Bucks edged the Trojans.
Gourley scored an unassisted goal earlier in the half to tie the game for 1-0 Bucksport. Katie Hurd made one save on three shots.
Kaitlyn Vaux scored for 0-2 Mount Desert Island to back Asia Ross, who made four saves on 14 shots.
Hampden 4, Old Town 2
At Old Town, Annaliese Lafayette scored the go-ahead goal with 14:50 left in the second half to give Hampden the win.
Sophie Kelmensen, Jenna Shue and Amy Dumont each netted a goal for 2-0 Hampden. Michelle Wells stopped six of eight shots.

At East Millinocket, Randy Rackley scored three goals to lead Penobscot Valley of Howland to the victory.

Cortney McLaughlin scored a second-half goal for 1-1 Schenck and Tricia Hobbs made six saves on 16 shots.

At Bingham, Hannah Breton netted three first-half goals to lead Greenville to the win.
Crystal Ferris had a goal and an assist for 2-1 Greenville. Kahla Lander netted a goal and Kristi Richardson had an assist. Beth Bartley stopped all three shots that she faced.
Morgan Staples made 20 saves on 35 shots for 1-1 Valley.
