GORHAM – Andy Budelman notched two goals as the University of Southern Maine Huskies rolled to a 4-0 men’s soccer victory over Saint Joseph’s College Monday.
Zach Ansley had a goal plus an assist for 3-0-1 USM while Adam Bial added a goal. Chris Willard and Jeff Gray had three saves on seven shots.
Kenny Kehoe stopped five out of 19 shots for the 0-2-1 Monks.
Women’s soccer
UM-Farmington 6, Thomas 0
At Farmington, Jodie Welch had a goal plus two assists to lead the UMF Beavers to the win over the Terriers.
Erin Findlan, Erin Campbell and Heidi Parker each had a goal with an assist while Kelsey Burk and Hillary Hopkins added goals. Melissa DeMerchant, Alix Raymond and Kerry Kowalczyk only faced one shot for 1-1 UMF.
Jessie Craft had six saves on 14 shots for 0-3 Thomas of Waterville.
Field hockey
Colby 3, Thomas 0
At Waterville, Wendy Bonner had a goal with an assist for the White Mules in the win.
Emily Lawrence and Jessica Egan each had goals for 1-1 Colby while Jamie Enos had two saves on five shots.
Jen Lane stopped 45 out of 59 shots for the 0-2 Terriers.
