ELLSWORTH – Jensen Rich and Demetrios Katsiaficas each had a goal and an assist as Ellsworth topped George Stevens of Blue Hill 4-1 in a schoolboy soccer match Thursday.

Jacques Tardie and Noah Jordan added goals and Taylor Wentworth an assist for 3-1 Ellsworth. Cory Smith had one save on five shots.

Sam Bridges scored for the 4-1 Eagles of Blue Hill. Mark Ensworth and Colin Henry stopped 12 of 21 shots.

JV: Ellsworth 4-1

WA Raiders 5, Narraguagus 2

At East Machias, Miguel Lopes scored two goals and Minh Nguyen and Drake Simmons had a goal and an assist apiece as Washington Academy improved to 4-0.

Jinho Ko had a goal for the winners, Peter Edwards had two assists and Jeremy Gray, Josiah Jackson and Colin Wagner combined for eight saves on 17 shots.

Corey Worcester and Gustavo Ortiz scored for 1-3 Narraguagus of Harrington, Jared Baxter had an assist and Phil Reynolds and Josh Cook made 16 saves on 31 shots.

Calais 5, Woodland 3

At Woodland, Jacob Luddington scored three goals and Corey Johnston added two to lead Calais.

Johnston and Devon McPhee each added an assist for the 1-3 winners and Doug Connolly made 13 saves on 16 shots.

Ben Leighton scored two goals for 1-2 Woodland and Adam Knowles added one goal. Steve Newell and Craig Moody each notched an assist and Donald Phelps made 16 saves on 21 shots.

Bucksport 2, Searsport 2 (2OT)

At Bucksport, Matt Nickerson scored a pair of second-half goals to rally Searsport from a 2-0 halftime deficit.

Ryan Shute assisted on one of Nickerson’s goals.

Caleb Grindle had a goal and an assist for 0-3-1 Bucksport, while freshman Alex Pappas also scored for the Golden Bucks.

Garrett Greenlaw made five saves on 11 shots for 1-2-2 Searsport. Miles Bisher made five saves on 10 shots for Bucksport.

Bangor Christian 6, Sumner 0

At East Sullivan, Ignacio Bustos had two goals and assists to lead the Patriots to victory.

Josh Frost also scored twice for 3-1-1 Bangor Christian, while Josh Griffin had a goal and an assist and Eric Sobey had a goal. Matt Denbow and Shane Murphy added assists.

Aaron Wilson and Ryan Weston combined to make five saves on 11 shots for BC. Mason Young made 13 saves on 31 shots for 0-4 Sumner.

Greenville 3, Calvary Chapel 2

At Brewer, Joe Jardine had a goal and an assist as the Lakers prevailed.

Durgin McKusick and Jonah Lizotte added goals for 5-1 Greenville. Brandon Lavigne made seven saves on nine shots.

Brock Bradford tallied a goal and an assist for the 0-1 Sabers of Orrington. Andrew Lowe added a goal and Brandon Dean stopped eight of 12 shots.

Girls soccer

Searsport 3, Bangor Christian 1

At Bangor, Nori Francis-Metzger scored a pair of goals as the Vikings remained undefeated.

Haley Grove also scored for 4-0 Searsport, while April Pickering made 10 saves on 15 shots.

Amber Leathers scored for 2-2 Bangor Christian. Johannah Kutz made 14 saves on 17 shots for the Patriots.

WA Raiders 5, East Grand 1

At Danforth, Sarah Rushforth scored three goals for the Raiders of East Machias.

Angie Ashby and Meghan Rose added a goal apiece for 3-0 WA. Joy Grannis made five saves on six shots.

Ryann Flannery had the lone goal for the 0-3 Vikings. Paula Osnoe stopped 22 of 27 shots.

Field hockey

Belfast 2, Mount View 1

At Belfast, Callie Aldus scored unassisted with 7:50 remaining to give the 5-0 Lions the win.

Britt Reed added an unassisted goal for the winners. Liz Anderson had three saves on four shots.

Erin Nason scored for the 2-3 Mustangs of Thorndike. Carrie Beverage had five saves on seven shots.

JV: Belfast 2-0

Camden Hills 3, MCI 1

At Rockport, Megan Bauer scored two goals on assists from Marianne Croce to lead the Camden Hills Windjammers past Maine Central Institute.

Gwen Maddox scored on a Laura Schelbe assist and Georgia Smith made four saves on six shots for the 2-3 Windjammers.

Korin Ingraham scored on a Chelsea Condon assist and Courtney Howe had 14 saves on 17 shots for MCI.

JV: Camden Hills 3-0
