Harper wins Winterport’s Larrabee Challenge

WINTERPORT – Matt Harper of Wiscasset edged out Bob Reynolds of Winterport to win the Larrabee Box/No Box Challenge Sunday at Winterport Dragway.

Harper advanced from the Box Challenge and Reynolds from the No Box Challenge.

Maguire takes Little Enduro

At Hermon, Artie Maguire Jr. of Bucksport earned a win in the 75-lap Little Enduro feature Saturday in the season-closing night at Speedway 95.

Sullivan’s Richard Burrill, the 2004 points champ, finished second, followed by Whitney Bryant of Hermon, Darren Durrell of Newburgh and Bob Merchant of Lamoine.
