The Husson College Eagles of Bangor and the Maine Maritime Academy Mariners were both shut out on college football action Saturday as Curry beat MMA 30-0 and Worcester Polytech defeated Husson 35-0

At Milton, Mass., Anthony Barbanti recovered two Mariner fumbles, including one he ran back 21 yards for a touchdown in the second quarter, as the Colonels shut out Maine Maritime of Castine.
Brandon Benoit led all rushers with 77 yards on 19 carries in the game, which was played in heavy rain due to Hurricane Ivan.
Dave Berry paced the Mariners with 41 yards on nine carries. Dan Rosen had 10 tackles.

At Worcester, Mass., Ryan Walker rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns as the Engineers rolled despite committing six turnovers.
Ryan Jennette added a touchdown for WPI.
Matt Hilton paced the Eagles of Bangor with 52 yards on 14 carries. Mike Prentiss chipped in with 48 yards on 22 attempts. Ross Salovich had a team-best 13 tackles along with an interception and Adam Scott picked off three passes.
