DYER BROOK – Caitlin Sherman scored three of her four goals in the first half to propel the Ashland Hornets to a 5-2 schoolgirl soccer victory over Southern Aroostook on Tuesday.
Whitney Flint tallied the other goal for the 8-1 Bobcats, and Ashlee Peters picked up two assists and Beth Chamberlin had one. Ashley Nemer made 10 saves on 18 shots.
Mindy Watson and Chelsea Collier scored for the 7-2 Warriors, and Kim Grant had an assist. Erin Caswell made 14 saves on 23 shots.

At East Millinocket, Cortney McLaughlin scored two goals as the Wolverines earned the victory.
Gabby Rioux also scored a goal for 3-3-1 Schenck, while Robin Larlee made 10 saves on 13 shots.
Nicole Manton made six saves on 20 shots for Houlton.

At Greenville, Rica Breton had two goals and an assist as the Lakers earned their sixth straight victory.
Emily Fowle and Tasha Elsemore added goals for 6-1 Greenville, while Kristie Richardson, Addie Pelletier, and Crystal Ferris each contributed an assist.
Beth Bartley did not have to make a save to earn her sixth consecutive shutout in goal. Morgan Staples made 14 saves on 25 shots for 2-4 Valley of Bingham.

At Newport, Katie Bergeron, Alison Gallant, and Amy McLaughlin each scored two goals to lead the Old Town Indians past Nokomis of Newport.
Amy McFalls made six saves on eight shots for 3-1 Old Town.
Rozlyn Peterson saved 18 of 24 shots for the 0-5 Warriors.
Bangor Christian 2, Sumner 0
At Bangor, second-half goals by Brooke Hale and Amber Leathers lifted the Patriots to victory.
Adrienne Ricci added an assist for 3-2-1 Bangor Christian, while Johannah Kutz made two saves on three shots.
Whitney Page made 28 saves on 43 shots for 0-6 Sumner of East Sullivan.

At Searsport, Theresa Cameron had a goal and an assist in the Vikings’ victory.
Gracie Messinger, Brittani Frisbie, and Nori Francis-Mezger also made goals for 6-0 Searsport. Abby Tripp and Aimee Neilson had assists. April Pickering faced 18 shots, saving 14.
Katie Hurd scored Bucksport’s lone goal. Courtney Gourlem made 18 saves on 19 shots for the 3-1 Golden Bucks.
Calvary Chapel 5, East Grand 1
At Danforth, Monique Veilleux scored three goals as Calvary Chapel of Orrington improved to 3-1 on the season.
Chauntel Veilleux and Brittany Lowe also scored for the Sabers, while Jessica Graves stopped 10 of 11 shots.
Elishia Daigle scored for East Grand. Paula Osnoe stopped 16 of 21 shots for the 0-5 Vikings.
Central 3, Hermon 2 (2OT)
At Corinth, Sadie Chretien scored her second goal of the match with 3:38 left in the second overtime to provide Central with the margin of victory.
Danielle Martin also scored for the 2-2 Red Devils, while Nicole Daniels made 18 saves on 22 shots.
Gillian Miller scored both Hermon goals. Shannon Wiggin made eight saves on 11 shots for the 3-2-2 Hawks.

At Lee, Shelby Pickering popped in five goals, including three in the second half to break open a 2-1 halftime lead, to power the Pandas.
Brooke Harris scored the other goal for 5-0 Lee. Aarika Ritchie had four assists and Kerri Harris one. Jackie Moors and Brooke Harris combined for 11 saves on 14 shots.
Ashley Dawson tallied for the 4-1 Howlers of Howland, and Jen Plourde made 14 saves on 32 shots.

At Dover-Foxcroft, Leslie Martin of the Ponies netted the only goal of the game 10:50 into the first half.
Brittany Fadley stopped three of four shots for 3-2 Foxcroft. Jill Martell made 10 saves on 15 shots for the 3-1-1 Pirates of Guilford.

At Eastport, Sarah Rushfort led the Raiders of East Machias with four goals and an assist.
Kayla Woods had another goal for 5-0 Washington Academy. Meghan Rose turned away 16 of 24 shots.
Vicki Morrison scored for the 1-3 Tigerettes, and Brittany Cox saved nine of 16 shots.

Jeff Boutilier and Colby Clark combined to save all five shots they faced for Southern Aroostook. Kevin Baker and Lucas Belanger combined to stop 10 of 15 shots for 2-6-1 Ashland.
Presque Isle 2, MDI 1 (2OT)
At Mount Desert, Sean Daigle scored the winning goal with 17 seconds left in the second overtime to give the Wildcats the win.
Sam Mathers had 7-1 Presque Isle’s first goal and Brad Baker made eight saves on 13 shots.
Matt Grover tied the game with 12 minutes left in regulation for the 3-3 Trojans. Max Blanford faced 18 shots, saving 14.

Don Shin scored twice for 3-3 Foxcroft, while Mitch Sawyer scored a goal and Victor Planella contributed an assist.
